About the Role
An established OEM manufacturer is seeking a high-performing HVAC Sales Manager to drive business growth across the data centre and telecommunications sectors. This is a remote, field-based role focused on B2B and technical sales, combining account management with new business development.
You’ll play a key role in promoting specialist cooling solutions, building services, and M&E packages, working closely with end-users, consultants, and project teams. From early-stage design engagement through to project completion, you will manage the full sales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities within data centres and telecoms
- Account Management: Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Pipeline Ownership: Manage sales pipeline from concept and specification through to order
- Consultant Engagement: Influence specifications through strong consultant relationships
- Sales Delivery: Deliver compelling presentations to promote products and services
- Market Insight: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments
- Customer Support: Act as the main point of contact for technical and commercial enquiries
- Site Visits: Conduct surveys to assess customer requirements
- Quotations: Prepare accurate and compliant proposals and documentation
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to support successful project delivery
- Reporting: Provide sales forecasts and attend regular team meetings
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, and account management within HVAC or building services
- Strong understanding of cooling systems, M&E solutions, and technical sales processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven with the ability to achieve revenue targets
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (O365)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
Desirable
- Experience in data centre or telecommunications environments
- Background delivering HVAC projects to client specifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Relevant HVAC qualifications, apprenticeship, or CSCS/skills card
