We are currently partnering with a specialist electronic security provider based in Central London to recruit an experienced CCTV & Access Control Service and Maintenance Engineer.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of electronic security systems across commercial client sites throughout Central London.
You will work across CCTV and access control systems, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive fault finding, corrective repairs, and supporting minor upgrade works where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits across CCTV and access control systems
- Diagnose faults, repair, and replace components including cameras, readers, locks, controllers, NVRs/DVRs, switches, power supplies, and associated equipment
- Support small-scale installations, upgrades, and commissioning works
- Maintain accurate service reports, stock records, and maintenance logs
- Liaise directly with clients to provide updates, technical support, and practical solutions while minimising disruption to operations
- Configure user permissions, access rights, door schedules, and integrations where required
- Support basic network configuration including IP addressing, VLANs, and remote connectivity
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and working practices remain compliant with health and safety standards
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with CCTV and access control systems within the electronic security industry
- Strong knowledge of IP CCTV systems, NVRs/DVRs, surveillance cameras, door entry systems, readers, and associated hardware
- Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, switches, VLANs, and remote access configuration
- Background in electronic security, electrical engineering, or related technical discipline
- ECS Card required
- Ability to obtain or maintain DBS clearance in line with NSI Gold standards

- Experience using maintenance management systems would be advantageous
