Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of projects from design handover through to successful completion
  • Review and adopt technical designs, ensuring smooth transition into delivery phase
  • Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Ensure all project activities align with client requirements and regulatory standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, and key stakeholders
  • Oversee installation and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards
  • Monitor progress against programme, adjusting schedules and resources where required
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery
  • Maintain clear communication across all stakeholders and support procurement processes
  • Manage project finances including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Key Requirements / Skills

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, HVAC, or related sectors
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and forecasting
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexibly when required

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in smoke ventilation systems or similar specialist installations
  • Previous site or construction experience
  • Relevant project management or construction-related qualifications
