Senior Sprinkler Service Engineer

Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Sprinkler Service Engineer to join a growing fire protection business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled engineer looking to take on a senior role, supporting the servicing, maintenance and repair of sprinkler, wet riser and dry riser systems across commercial and residential sites.

You'll also provide technical support to the wider engineering team, build strong client relationships and play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair sprinkler systems.
• Inspect and maintain wet riser and dry riser systems.
• Diagnose complex faults and provide technical support to engineers.
• Produce detailed service reports and recommend remedial works.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
• Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for system improvements.

About You

You'll have:

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining sprinkler systems.
• Strong knowledge of BS EN 12845, BS 9251 and LPC Rules.
• Experience working with wet riser and dry riser systems.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Previous experience supporting or mentoring engineers.
• A full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• Experience with fire pumps.
• Industry-recognised sprinkler qualifications.
• Previous supervisory or senior engineering experience.
