Role Summary

The GSOC Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of field operations, workforce deployment, client support, and administrative functions. Acting as a central leader within the organization, this individual will ensure operational efficiency, maintain service quality across all sites, and provide leadership to field personnel and administrative teams.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. They will serve as a trusted operational resource, ensuring that internal processes, client expectations, and staffing requirements are consistently met. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all field and operational activities across multiple client locations. 
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for field personnel, operational challenges, and client concerns. 
  • Develop and maintain effective workforce scheduling, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times. 
  • Coordinate coverage for call-outs, no-shows, emergency staffing needs, and ad hoc client requests. 
  • Conduct site visits and maintain a visible presence within field operations to support personnel and ensure service quality. 
  • Monitor operational communication channels and ensure timely dissemination of critical information. 
  • Review employee timekeeping records and finalize approved hours for payroll processing. 
  • Oversee administrative functions, including employee records, scheduling, data management, and operational reporting. 
  • Identify operational risks, staffing challenges, and service deficiencies, implementing proactive solutions to maintain standards. 
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and other HR-related initiatives. 
  • Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, performance, and client satisfaction. 
  • Ensure responsibilities are appropriately delegated and operational objectives are consistently achieved. 

Essential Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience within security operations, workforce management, operations management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of field operations and personnel management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and accountability.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including scheduling, reporting, and workforce management systems.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with employees, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between client locations as required. 

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous security industry leadership experience.
  • Active security license or prior field security experience.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, scheduling software, or workforce management platforms.
  • Payroll administration experience.
  • Experience supporting HR processes and employee relations.
  • Data analysis and operational reporting experience.
