Fire Alarm Service & Small Works Engineer | Up to £48,000 basic | London
Our client is seeking an experienced Service & Small Works Engineer to support a varied portfolio of sites across London. The successful candidate will focus on servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and small works on fire alarm systems, with additional security systems experience viewed as beneficial.Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems across multiple client sites.
- Attend reactive call-outs and diagnose faults efficiently.
- Complete remedial works and minor project installations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Produce detailed service documentation and reports.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Support project teams where required on small works activities.
- Work safely and professionally at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Significant experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience delivering PPM and remedial works.
- Good understanding of fire alarm regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with CCTV, access control, or intruder alarm systems.
- FIA qualifications and/or manufacturer accreditations.
- Experience working on commercial office and residential projects.
- Knowledge of multiple fire alarm manufacturers.
