Our client is a leading fire protection contractor with a strong reputation for delivering fire sprinkler installation, maintenance, and service solutions across commercial and industrial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced sales professional to support business development across the San Diego region.Role Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative to develop new business, manage key customer relationships, and drive growth across both new construction and service sales. The role combines technical knowledge with commercial acumen and offers significant earning potential through a competitive commission structure.Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new fire sprinkler project and service opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, facilities managers, and end users
- Prepare quotations, estimates, proposals, and tender submissions
- Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Grow existing accounts while developing new business opportunities
- Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry networking events
Essential Requirements
- Proven fire sprinkler or fire protection sales experience
- Strong understanding of sprinkler systems and relevant industry standards
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Successful track record in business development and account management
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Valid driving licence
