Fire & Security Service Engineer

£30,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)

Join a reputable and long-standing fire and security company delivering top-tier maintenance and servicing to commercial clients, including bookmakers and various business premises. You'll work with industry-standard systems like Texecom, Galaxy, and Paxton—experience with Gent systems is especially valued for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, fault-finding, and repairs on fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems.
• Diagnose faults and implement timely repairs to reduce system downtime.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Operate across a range of commercial contracts throughout the North West and Yorkshire.
• Provide technical support remotely when needed, including phone-based troubleshooting.
• Complete service reports and related documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
• Highlight opportunities for remedial works and potential system upgrades.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with Gent, Texecom, Galaxy, and Paxton systems is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while upholding professional standards.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
