Fire Systems Project Manager | Up to £60,000 | London/M25
Role Summary
The Fire Systems Project Manager will take responsibility for delivering fire alarm and fire systems installation projects from pre-start through to final handover. Working across a portfolio of projects primarily within the M25, you will manage programmes, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple fire systems installation projects from award to completion
- Oversee project delivery on sites mainly within London and the M25
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification
- Manage programmes, labour planning, and material procurement
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and main contractors
- Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Manage variations, cost control, and project reporting
- Ensure full compliance with relevant fire standards and regulations
- Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover documentation
Key Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience delivering fire systems installation projects
- Background in fire alarm systems (not passive fire or sprinklers)
- Experience working on projects up to c. £2m in value (or progressing towards this level)
- Strong understanding of installation processes, testing, and commissioning
- Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Good commercial awareness and organisational skills
- Based in London or commutable to Canary Wharf
Desirable
- Experience progressing from fire engineer, commissioning engineer, or installation background
- Previous role as Project Manager, Small Works Manager, or similar
- FIA or relevant fire industry training and certifications

- Base salary: £55,000 + 5% bonus + company car

Up to £60,000 base salary with company car (no commission) - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
