Birmingham / permanent / £500,000 Per annum
Design Manager | Birmingham | £50,000 | Hybrid working: 2 days from home, 2 days in the office, plus site visits
You will play a key role in supporting the design team and engineers, producing high-quality system designs, and supporting installation projects. While experience in Fire & Security is desirable, it is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the design team and engineers with Fire & Security system designs
- Produce and review technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or BIM
- Provide design support to installation projects from concept through to delivery
- Liaise with project teams and attend site visits as required
- Ensure designs comply with current electrical standards and regulations
Requirements
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AutoCAD and/or BIM
- Good knowledge of electrical standards
- Background in a design or engineering environment
- Knowledge of Fire & Security systems is beneficial but not essential – full training can be provided
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with engineers and installation teams
