A leading Fire & Security service provider is seeking an experienced Fire & Intruder Alarm Engineer to join their team covering the M3 corridor and Central Southern region. The role focuses on PPM, remedials, and reactive works across a diverse commercial client base.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) on fire and intruder alarm systems
- Complete remedial works and reactive call-outs
- Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., BS5839, EN standards)
- Produce accurate reports and communicate findings to clients
- Maintain professional standards on customer sites across healthcare, education, government and commercial environments
- Participate in the call-out rota (2-day shifts, no full weekends)

Intruder Alarm Systems
- Galaxy
- Texecom
- Scantronic
Call-Out & Overtime
- Call-out shifts: 2-day rotations, never covering a full weekend
- Call-out allowance:
- £25 per weekday
- £35 per weekend day
- Pay: Door-to-door at time and a half during call-outs
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £42,000 DOE

Requirements
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire & intruder systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnosis capabilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent customer service and professionalism
- Ability to participate in call-out rota
- Security screening may be required for some government/education sites
Desirable
- FIA units or manufacturer-specific training
- Experience with additional security systems (CCTV, access control)
- Knowledge of Life Safety systems in complex commercial environments
