The Role
- Oversee day-to-day service and maintenance operations across a portfolio of lift contracts in London.
- Manage and support a team of Service Engineers, ensuring planned maintenance and reactive call-outs are completed efficiently and safely.
- Liaise with clients and tenants, providing clear communication, technical support, and excellent customer service.
- Monitor service performance, costs, and response times—ensuring compliance with SLAs and company procedures.
- Coordinate with technical, repair, and modernisation teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain contract satisfaction.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, promoting safety, reliability, and customer care across the service division.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced Service Manager, Supervisor, or Engineer from the lift, HVAC, electrical, or wider building services industries.
- Strong understanding of maintenance operations, service planning, and engineer management.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Confident managing field teams and coordinating with clients in a busy service environment.
- Able to interpret technical information and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
