Location: Hybrid – St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (OTE up to £70,000)
Overview:
Our client, a well-established provider of fire and security solutions, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support their continued growth. This role focuses on winning new business, building long-term client relationships, and generating sustainable revenue across multiple service lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across target markets
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across public and private sectors
- Prepare tailored proposals, conduct site surveys, and present solutions
- Negotiate contracts to meet revenue and margin targets
- Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline and forecasts
- Track performance and report on KPIs and sales activity
- Maximise cross-selling opportunities across services
About You:
- Proven track record in business development within fire & security
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Experienced in managing full sales cycles and high-value contracts
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and target-driven
