Role: Business Development Manager – South
Location: Hybrid – St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (OTE up to £70,000)

Overview:
Our client, a well-established provider of fire and security solutions, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support their continued growth. This role focuses on winning new business, building long-term client relationships, and generating sustainable revenue across multiple service lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across target markets
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across public and private sectors
  • Prepare tailored proposals, conduct site surveys, and present solutions
  • Negotiate contracts to meet revenue and margin targets
  • Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Track performance and report on KPIs and sales activity
  • Maximise cross-selling opportunities across services

About You:

  • Proven track record in business development within fire & security
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Experienced in managing full sales cycles and high-value contracts
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and target-driven
