About the Role

A leading UK fire engineering specialist is seeking a Project Manager to deliver fire detection and suppression projects to high standards of quality, safety and compliance.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Planning and executing projects from start to finish
  • Coordinating site activities and installation teams
  • Managing client communication and expectations
  • Providing technical support and interpreting specifications
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant British Standards
  • Overseeing documentation, reporting and project milestones
  • Managing budgets, timelines and performance
  • Identifying risks and resolving project issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement and innovation

Technical Areas Covered:

  • Fire alarms
  • Gas suppression
  • Watermist systems
  • Aspirating detection
  • Specialist detection technologies
  • Pressure relief, gas extraction, smoke management

Experience & Skills Needed:

  • 3–5 years’ Project Management experience in fire alarms, gas suppression or related fields
  • Strong technical understanding of fire protection systems
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder skills
  • Proficient with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana)
  • Confident with MS Office
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Comfortable with regular site visits and construction environments
  • Relevant industry certifications (advantageous)
