An established and growing fire and security solutions provider is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive growth within its Planned & Preventative Maintenance (PPM) offering. This is an excellent opportunity for a field-based sales professional—ideally with industry experience—or a Fire Systems Engineer looking to transition into a commercial role.

The Role

You will take ownership of sales enquiries from initial contact through to quotation, conducting site surveys and delivering tailored solutions to clients. The focus will be on winning new business while maintaining and expanding existing client relationships across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales enquiries, site surveys, and quotations within agreed deadlines
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date records
  • Design and estimate small works in line with relevant standards
  • Monitor enquiry pipelines and ensure timely follow-up

About You

  • Proven field sales experience (ideally within fire and security)
  • Technical understanding of fire alarm and/or security systems
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  • Ability to manage workload and meet targets and deadlines
  • Open to candidates transitioning from an engineering background into sales
