Installing and servicing wireless fire alarms on major housebuilding sites across the UK.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Recent experience as a Wireless Fire Alarm Engineer, travelling nationally to install, service and maintain wireless fire alarms and fire extinguishers on live construction sites.
  • Strong background in roadside recovery and vehicle recovery operations, with 8 years’ hands-on experience delivering breakdown assistance, towing and safe vehicle transportation for motorists, police and major roadside organisations.
  • Worked on building sites for well-established housebuilders, liaising closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers, and carrying out site surveys when required.
  • Experienced in breakdown diagnostics, fault finding, repairs, towing, winching, jump-starts, lockouts, fuel delivery and customer-facing support under pressure.
  • Industry knowledge includes wireless fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers; qualifications include BAFE Fire Extinguisher Technicians course, 5 x GCSE, plus experience operating MEWPs and hoist erection on construction sites.
